Dunwoody High School Student Expectations

We want to provide our students with a safe, orderly environment in which to study and to learn. Certain local school policies, in addition to the system-wide discipline rules are necessary. It is important that each student be familiar with these local policies as well as those stated in the Code of Student Conduct: Student Rights and Responsibilities and Character Development Handbook. For more information, please click here.

Cell Phone Policy

Students will not use any electronic communication device, including but not limited to, cellular phones, smart phones, walkie-talkies, and similar devices during instructional time (except for approved instructional purposes) and must not interfere with the educational mission of the school or pose a safety hazard. Texting and cell phone use is permitted before school, in the halls during transition, the lunch period in the cafeteria/picnic area or after school.
