Dunwoody High School is pleased to offer AP Night on Wednesday, February 28 from 6:00 - 7:30 PM with the program beginning in the Cafeteria. Parents and students will be able to hear general information about the Advanced Placement Program at DHS and to hear presentations from up to four teachers of specific AP courses in concurrent sessions in classrooms following the general information session. Also, a representative from the Dual Enrollment Program (formerly Move on When Ready) at Georgia State University's Dunwoody Campus will be present prior to the start of AP Night at 5 PM. The schedule for the evening is as follows:
- Information on Dual Enrollment Program at Georgia State University (Cafeteria 5:00 - 6 PM)
- General information session on AP courses (Cafeteria 6:00 - 6:30 PM)
- 4 concurrent sessions by teachers of specific AP courses (Classrooms 6:30 - 7:30 PM)
While course selection forms have already been submitted, students who decide they would like to take an AP course that was not on their course selection form, will have the opportunity to change their course requests on the Verification Forms that will be issued in March. In future years, we will be offering this program in the fall, prior to the beginning of the course selection process.
