It's March Madness, and history is in the making. The Varsity Boys Soccer team defeated John's Creek 4-2 in an epic region battle. After giving up an early goal in the first 5 minutes, Leo Gomez leveled the score with an equalizer, and Captain Mauro Morales struck the go-ahead goal to make it 2-1. John's Creek then leveled the score 2-2 to send the game into extra time when Leo Gomez scored his 2nd goal of the match, and Tyler Courtney later sealed the win with a goal in the second extra time. This was the most goals given up by John's Creek this season. The Wildcats have now scored 20 goals in 3 games and are on a 3 game winning streak. Next up is another region game Tuesday versus Northview 8pm at Adams Stadium. Come out and support your Varsity Boys Soccer.
