Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Soccer Team! The Wildcats defeated #7 Hillgrove 2-1 last night in their "Sweet 16" match in Wildcat Valley. Lindsey Lampron scored the game's first goal off an assist from Sarah Holland 5 Minutes into the game. Hillgrove scored late in the first half, and it was tied 1-1 at halftime. Lindsey Lampron scored her second goal off an assist from Hannah Thompson to put the cats up 2-1, 16 minutes into the second half. Goalkeeper Ella Holland and the defense held strong to pull out the victory. With the win, they advance to the Elite 8 for the second time in school history, where they will HOST the winner of Brookwood vs West Forsyth. That's right, the girls will HOST the Elite 8 game next week...
