Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Soccer Team! They beat Etowah 1-0 in the 1st round of the GHSA 7A State Playoffs! This competitive and exciting game took overtime to decide. That's where Ella Ryan's corner kick was headed in by Julia Gild for the only goal of the game. The Wildcats played tough team defense all night in front of goalkeeper Ella Holland as they earned their 11th clean sheet of the season.
The Wildcats, ranked #4 in the state by the AJC, will host #7 ranked Hillgrove in the 2nd round of the state Playoffs on Monday April 18 at North DeKalb Stadium. It's a Great Day to be a Wildcat!
