One Sight Vision Clinic

We are happy to announce that the Student Support Services Department will host the Regional One Sight Vision Clinic again this school year. The One Sight Regional Vision Clinic will be held during the week of October 27-31, 2014 at McNair High School.

During the regional clinic, One Sight provides trained volunteers and doctors that partner with pre-established local charitable organizations across North America to provide free vision and new eyewear to hundreds of thousands in need. One Sight has committed to servicing 1,000 DeKalb students during this clinic. Last school year, we served 850+ students through this project. We know that there is a direct correlation between healthy vision and academic achievement. We are very excited!!!

Step 1:

The first step in the identification process is to determine the students with vision concerns. If you know of any students who could benefit from The One Sight Regional Vision Clinic, please submit their names to Mrs. Love by October 10, 2014.

Once identified, the students will need to show evidence that they have failed a preliminary eye exam administered at the school.
