Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to Science at Dunwoody High School. I am very excited to work with your student this year. Throughout the year, we will follow the GPS and College Board curriculum as we work through physics. The class will be a combination of lecture, laboratories, activities, and projects to help your student learn how to “think.” Knowing how to “think” will help your student succeed in life, whether they pursue science or not.

I thoroughly enjoy working at Dunwoody High School and hope to challenge and motivate your student throughout the year. Science is a rigorous subject, and your student should expect to have 30 minutes of homework each night. If there is no formal assignment, students should review notes in preparation for tests and quizzes. I am available for extra help in the mornings.
